Plum Cake Recipe

This Plum Cake recipe was a real gift from my friend Marina.

Once shared it with me, it has become a frequent dessert on the dinner table, loved by my family and friends.

Now Marina lives in Poland but I think about her every time when I eat this delicious cake.

Bon appétit!

Steps

1
Done

Whisk the eggs and sugar in a bowl, add to soft (not melted) butter. Make sure you took the butter out of the fridge an hour before baking to allow it to be soft.

2
Done

Sift the flour into the mixture and blend gently. Take half a tea spoon of soda, add a tea spoon of vinegar to it and blend them with the dough.

3
Done

Crush the walnuts and add them to the dough.

4
Done

Spread some baking paper on a baking tray. Put the dough into the tray and spread evenly. Cut the plums into small pieces, put them on the dough. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.

5
Done

You can add powder sugar on top when the cake is ready and cooled.

Nataliia

I believe that cooking should be fun. It should surprise but not exhaust the cook. I believe that taste is as important as presentation, and they both make your table exquisite. I love when my family gets around the table in expectation of the dinner. It gives me real pleasure to see them enjoy the meals.

Hi Elaine. Thank you for the comment 🙂 This is the first time my website got a recipe by a different author so I am very proud to host Nataliia’s recipe! In fact, I’ve got a few people who had already registered and can post, too. Quite exciting!
