French Cook Books
A couple of weeks later my husband surprised me with a very lovely gift. It was two wonderful books – “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” by Julia Child! Julia wrote them together with Simone Beck and Loisette Bertholle (Louisette was one of the co-authors of the first volume). So now I had the exact same books that they talked about in the movie. I was very happy.
And this is how many (if not all) of my French recreations on this website were born. Huge thank you to Julia Child and the team that worked on the movie for inspiring to cook amazing French dishes at home.
French Recipes I Made
The first recipe I tried was Breast of Chicken with Cream Sauce. Although, I did cook my own sauce for it and made sure there was enough for two! I also made lots of juicy quiches, wine steamed mussels, lemon butter chicken, you name it! Check out all of my other recipes, too. I can’t wait for you to go through the same excitement I went when cooking these amazing dishes at home.
