      Fry Veggies

Fry the eggplant slices from both sides for 2-3 minutes. Transfer the fried slices to a plate. Don't stack them yet. Season the slices with a little bit of salt. Then fry the tomatoes.

Tip: Try to cut tomatoes in slices 0.2 inches (0.5 cm) wide before frying them. This will help to fry them nicely.

      Fry Shrimp

Heat the butter in a pan. Fry the shrimp from both sides, sprinkle lightly with salt. When ready, transfer the shrimp on a wooden board, let it cool a bit. Then cut the shrimp in halves, leaving nine whole ones for decoration later.

Slightly grease the bottom of the serving plate with the olive oil. Assemble your appetizer. The first layer is a piece of eggplant, then a half spoon of the dip, then the tomato and a couple of shrimp. Repeat twice, so that you end up with two layers of each ingredient.
